Right Side 02:50
If you gonna hit me Hit my right side please Bring me to my knees It may help my sinuses drain If you gonna hit me Yea hit me on the right You know that I don’t like to fight But I can stand a little pain Hit my right side honey That’s where I like to bleed Hit my right side honey If you’re coming for me When you go to hit me Do it on my right With all your might Forget the apologies When you go to hit me Tight and to the right Do it all in spite Don’t grit your teeth If you’re here to give up On all your pride If you’re here to love Then step inside But if you want something That I can’t be Hit my right side honey And I’ll claim defeat Hit my right side Hit my right side Hit my right side honey Bring me to my knees

Tomorrow 02:29
You slipped your heels off by the door Sat down in my lap Talked about the day and how it all went wrong I tried to make you laugh Ain’t it funny How the world Knocks the best of us Off our feet Ain’t it funny How we keep on breathing And putting it on repeat Tomorrow is a brand new day I came home, felt defeated Collapsed onto the couch You came over touched my face I didn’t have to ask Ain’t it funny How we let Such little things Bring us down Ain’t it funny How we know to fight it But we still can’t come around Tomorrow is a brand new day Ain’t it funny How we used to believe What we used to believe Ain’t it funny How we come to figure out What each other need Tomorrow it can start today

about

Over the past couple of years, I’ve spent most of my Monday nights recording music. Sometimes originals, sometimes covers, sometimes bits and pieces of ideas that I would shape into something later or scrap altogether. There with me pretty much the whole time, good or bad, and always with a smile and a positive word, was Carl Burnitz. I absolutely love recording music, but it is always so much better when you’re working with confident folks that bring a good attitude with them. And he’s not just nice, he’s also a Pro-Tools wizard that can work quickly, as I’m usually ready to capture stuff and move on. I can’t stress enough how much fun it’s been to hang with Carl these past couple of years and make music. So, this one’s for you Carl!
